Organisation Review

It is often very hard to see the opportunities to improve familiar operations and activities.  Inconsistencies and inefficiencies fade into invisibility.

Usually as part of a wider exercise, we evaluate and audit organisation and processes, comparing them to best practice and identifying opportunities to change and improve.

Wherever possible these are conducted with involvement and engagement of the people involved and often identify options and opportunities which enable otherwise unachievable aspirations.   Where organisation and process are found to be effective the audit process provides suitable assurance to build new ventures upon the old.

Typical example projects include:

  • Review of the finance and purchasing function within a not for profit organisation
  • Review of the organisation of commercial services within an HE institution
  • Re-structuring the customer facing processes in a mutual society
  • Analysis and recommendations on accommodation services in a University
  • Analysis of work flow and patient management in an NHS foundation trust hospital
  • Design and implementation of reorganisation plans in an FE institution
  • 3rd party audit of merger processes and outcomes for a funding body
