Matthew joined HW Corporate Finance from Citigroup, where he specialised in fixed income derivatives, after qualifying in the Top 10 internationally in the CIMA accountancy exams.  Prior to this he had an internship as an analyst with Foursome Investments, an ethically focused venture capital fund. 

Since joining in 2007, Matthew has qualified as a Corporate Financier (CFq) through the ICAEW and managed multiple deals in both advisory and transaction support.  He has worked closely with a number of financial institutions, including Barclays, Clydesdale and Primary Capital, in sectors ranging from agriculture to technology, manufacturing and retail.
 
Matthew is a keen sportsman and is heavily involved with his local cricket club as its treasurer.
